During a recently available lunch hour in Springfield, Va., a medical associate called Angela stepped in to a branch of Advance America at a strip shopping center and asked for the loan. She’d borrow $300 and guarantee to pay for it straight back within 1 month, with an extra $73 in interest and costs.
